This could be UM's year

They have a really deep roster and the best QB they've ever had. Only one DL has has had 35 snaps in a game, one averages right at 30, and every other DL is less than 30. They currently have 17 with draftable grades and 7 of them are OL As good as UGA has been, UM has an advantage at skill level and depth.

Whatever positive outcome they secure will be forfeit due to the signals scandal.

This won't turn out to be nearly the major scandal that everyone is wanting to make it. All the payments were made from the guy's Venmo account. The only really damning part is that some non salaried interns were part of the scouting crew. If not for that it might technically not be a rules violation. The rule states that team staff are forbidden from doing advanced scouting.

Keep telling yourself this.

More to this story than what has been revealed which is why everyone needs to wait for all the details. BTW noboady has said that Harbaugh had any knowledge of any of this. He's pretty straight laced guy whose dad was a long time small college coach. https://apnews.com/article/michigan-sign-stealing-452b6a83bb0d0a3707f633af72fe92ac

Not saying by any means that UM gets a pass on this, but this was a war of  figuring out the other teams signals  and they escalated to where they went over the line. BTW, who do you think hired the PI who somehow ended up with HD from a UM computer that got turned over to the NCAA?

Hat's off to the boys, they were a silly deep team which afforded them the luxury of playing boring ball control football and relying on a deep dominant defense all the way to a national championship.
