The 6 billion was Iranian money from prior oil sales and held in South Korea.

In addition, it wasn't turned over directly to Iran.  The money is to be used for humanitarian purposes and paid out of the South Korean fund.

Amazing what a 1 minute Google search shows as opposed to reading right wing propaganda.

All the money used out of this fund is now a savings that Iran can use in any way they choose.  It can indirectly help fund terrorism.   Amazing what a little common sense does to that libtard reasoning.

There's simply no defense for what has taken place. This wasn't a military encounter; this was terrorism plain and simple. There's a huge difference. It's unjustifiable and has setback peace for decad

Holy shit you are an NPC. Women and children taken hostage, hundreds of innocents gunned down, Holocaust survivors being paraded through the streets...   and you are foaming at the mouth ove

Hell yeah! John Calvin & friends never burned "heretics" at the stake. Protestants never burned "witches". All the bad stuff was the Catholics fault! That's the ticket!

The claim of Palestinians over the territory is pretty historically dubious as it has been in conflict for thousands of years.

Using that logic, then Israeli claim to the territory is also historically dubious since its been in conflict for thousands of years.

Correct - neither side has an indisputable historical claim to the territory imo

Only one side is being kept in an open air prison on the lands they were happily living on 70 years ago

I agree with you that Palestinians have been mistreated. And in some sense it his natural that extremists among them lashed out. However, these extremists doomed their own cause for statehood and squandered their growing international support. Patience and perseverance while building more support for their cause worldwide would have gained the Palestinian people far far more in the end imo

I get what you’re saying, but the whole thing started with Israel having the US and the UKs support… that ain’t going away and especially not in the Palestinians mind

If you take a look at the size of Palestine controlled by the Arabs in 1948 vs the size today, then it's obvious what has happened.

“common sense” and “everybody knows” is the tribal call to diminish facts while projecting your opinion as superior. Pipe down and stop trying to score points for your team by exploiting a global emergency.
