Inclined to support either him or Mikie Sherril for this NJ seat, but her district is a swing district and she is the best person to keep control of it in the House. There was a rep from LA named Jefferson who was charged on 10 counts. Seven of them were dropped. He had money found in his freezer. Ray Nagin , a NOLA mayor was found to have a large stash of money in his freezer in 2014 and got himself some slammer time for corruption. Years later my mom told me one of the things she hated most about New Orleans was the city and state governments and the police force …never in her life had she ever seen such blatant and shameless corruption . He's full of shit. The only reason to keep that amount of money around the house is because it's illegal and depositing it would trigger an audit.
