Starkiller
https://gazette.com/news/wex/expected-fourth-trump-indictment-leads-to-closed-roads-near-georgia-courthouse/article_fe7666c4-4242-5e36-807d-6b2d1c1cd350.html Georgia's Fulton County Sheriff's Office announced it will soon close the roads near the county courthouse ahead of an anticipated fourth indictment against former President Donald Trump. Atlanta's Pryor Street SW between MLK Jr. Drive and Mitchell Street will be closed beginning Monday at 5 a.m. because it is the nearby road of the Fulton County Courthouse, where District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to file an indictment against Trump, as recommended by the grand jury. The grand jury has not yet delivered a decision. The road closure will last until Aug. 18 and will include increased security. Pedestrian traffic will still be allowed on the street, but no public parking will be permitted. The Fulton County Courthouse will remain open to the public. Georgia is one of only six states in which a board, operating independently of the governor, makes the decisions. https://www.ajc.com/politics/why-potential-trump-charges-in-fulton-could-have-staying-power/24WWYDXAMZD2FDK2YVHUTQEDTA/#:~:text=Should Trump be convicted of,the governor%2C makes the decisions. If you’ll recall….ALL of these Trump investigations were in the works long before Trump declared his candidacy for 2024, In fact, Trump didn’t declare his candidacy until it became clear that he was likely to be indicted. He made his declaration so he could complain that he was being targeted for political reasons….but the fact is, those indictments were in the works long before he declared himself as a candidate. From November 2022…. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/11/15/trump-2024-announcement-running-president/ Trump’s urgency to announce also comes from wanting to get ahead of a potential indictment in any of the several ongoing criminal investigations into his conduct. He and close associates are under multiple criminal investigations: by the Justice Department for the effort to submit phony electors claiming Trump won key states in the 2020 election and for the mishandling of classified documents recovered from Mar-a-Lago; and by an Atlanta-area prosecutor for pressuring Georgia officials to overturn that state’s election results. His company is also in the middle of a trial for criminal tax fraud and the New York attorney general filed a lawsuit that could freeze the company’s operations, already winning the appointment of an independent monitor. pat, Omar, and MadMax 2

Popular Post begooode
It's always great when Trumpers pivot from indignant innocence of dear leader's antidemocratic, anti-USA action to either whitewashing them or playing the persecution card as loudly as possible "I'm a victim!". Always offended, yet always covering for bullshit no one should be okay with from even a small town mayor.
