Tannehill is good. These historical comparisons are flawed. He definitely benefits in these historical comparisons from the frankly pretty terrible Oilers/Titans QB history and from the huge inflation in QB statistics. QB wins is a joke metric. Jimmy Garoppolo is 3rd in completion percentage all-time. Kirk Cousins and Kyler Murray are tied for 6th... The story is the same for every passing metric. They're hugely inflated because of rule changes and the schematic shifts we've seen. QBs are not playing the same game as they were 20 years ago. Again, Tannehill is good. I think a team could win a Super Bowl with him. I think these historical comparisons are misleading though. Fair or not, your guy should be able to go off in the playoffs at least once.
