They will keep at least 9 OL. And I suspect they will roster Duncan and he will be inactive until they can coach him up.

Depending on the speed of Radunz's recovery from the ACL surgery they will also have the option to keep 9 plus leaving Radunz on PUP for the early part of the season and ultimately have 10 OL under control to start the season.

Very disappointed no one likes the Ski-Rex nickname

I hope Duncan is a legit challenger to NPF

Jason Houghtaling is now one of the most important people inside this organization he has to some how fashion a cohesive and competent OL out of the collection of bodies currently in the OL room.

He was the worst RT in the NFL the last 8 or 9 weeks.

He was a rookie and he had to play on an island because they were forced to shift help to Daley's side.  NPF was fine for a rookie.  Now if he doesn't take a step forward this year, it's a problem and he should be replaced next year.

He was fine for less than half the season and then was trash. It wasn't a great rookie season.

He gave up 5 sacks and 8 penalties on 937 snaps.  He wasn't good, I won't argue that, but as a rookie playing on an island without help... he wasn't as bad as some have portrayed him.

NPF's sack totals were artificially low simply because Daley's and Brewer's guys got to the QB slightly quicker…

3rd worst rated pass blocking tackle in the league...

I'd say he's at risk if any of these guys show something (talking about Jones, Radunz , Roos etc).  He wasn't good as the season went on.  I'd have to seriously consider replacing him if he doesn't improve.

According to who? PFF?

Yes. They're pretty good rating linemen. I don't take them as gospel, but it definitely passes the eye test. He was terrible the back half of the season in pass protection.

Hopefully he takes the next step, because he has the traits.

He was a rookie so he gets some slack but he has to play better in year 2 to be the answer there.  LOL that he was "great" though.

He was better as rookie than Daley was as a vet.

NPF had some truly disastrous games after opposing teams had tape on him. Not uncommon for a rookie OT but also another strike against Keith Carter. If NPF doesn't improve he'll eventually lose his starting job. He was a liability the second half of the year, just not the biggest liability.

And that equates to great?

No one said he was great, just that we should probably account for the fact that he was a rookie being asked to do more than what you usually ask of a vet.
