Thought this was funny:

Ran not paying these deals is more of a good sign than bad

LOL

Only way the Titans go WR in round 1 is if they trade out of 11 and that should only be an option if the top LTs are all gone. Even so relying on 2nd year players in Burkes, Chig, and Philips plus a rookie is not a good look.

Kiper has the Titans taking Tyree Wilson after Skoronski and PJJ go in the 2 picks immediately before, and passing on Jones. Not the first I've heard of some saying Jones is a step below the top tier tackles, not saying he has any inside info. We all know how much Vrabel emphasizes having that set the edge guy who can still rush the passer.

Yes... and the Titans are at a severe disadvantage because of the offense they run. They prolly needed to overpay a bit early on on a 3-4 year deal with an easy out after 2 years to entice a WR to sign. Doing so would have been extremely risky because the FA WR class this year is terrible.

Ehhh - at this point vet guys want to get signed to avoid getting frozen out.  As for the offense, certainly it factors in but a new OC and OL signings that at least try to improve the pass blocking would be an indication the team can be shifting towards a little more balance.

He's older and not a speed guy and his reputation got squashed last year as not a team player which goes against the culture , but Kenny Golladay might just be desperate enough to do a one year prove it deal and would almost be guaranteed a number 2 role here with the number one being a 2nd year guy who's been somewhat injury prone.

You guys are foollng yourselves if you think any WR is taking a prove it deal to play in this offense.

And it makes sense.

Reynolds and Raymond both found success in Detriot with Jared Goff of all people after leaving here. Even Brown's numbers exploded and it's not like his numbers were bad. I'm going to guess Woods, who is still respected even if he's washed, didn't have good things to say about the Titans either.

I'd be surprised if the Titans wanted to trade for anyone. I don't think they're wanting to trade future assets for short term gains right now

Probably but if you are trading for a WR, it would be for a Davis or Hopkins type who can play outside, not Moore who's a slot guy - too similar to Philips whom they like.
