And here we go with the overreaction.... if Carthon isn't calling around to see what it would take he wouldn't be a good GM. if they really like Stroud or Young enough to move up, I say go for it. Jus

Simmons isn't getting traded.

I'm not believing this based on that source but Tannehill is a decent, short term option with complications. If you want a guy and to put something together, you go get him.   There's basica

Of course it would be crazy expensive.

It will def be expensive. I just hope If Ran ends up making the trade it’s not such a high price it limits their ability to build the roster through the draft during his rookie contract. It’s all unlikely to happen anyway .

The age old issue is what's the cost and how that in turn hampers the ability to fix the OL and receiver issues...

The entire 2023 Titans draft capital is 2018.6.  Pick #1 is 3000....You'd have to figure the price is #1's plus.  Probably close to the Titans/Rams trade in 2016

Quote

Rams sent their first-round pick, two second-round picks, a third-round pick, a 2017 first-round pick and a 2017 third-round pick to the Titans in exchange for the No. 1 overall pick, a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick.

Simmons and 11 get it done?

would trade make a deal w Arizona to get stroud at 3

Stroud probably ain’t gonna be there at 3, someone will trade up into number 1 for him.

Simmons, 11, and next years 1 probably seals the deal I’d think.

I still feel like the deal would need to involve Simmons

They could offer Landry or Simmons tbh. Either would count as a 1, and Simmons should count at least as 1st + 3rd.

Young seems to be the consensus #1 right now but you'd assume Stroud goes #2 unless the team trading up or the Texans love Levis. Colts potentially get whoever's left at 4

Probably just depends on who is drafting the QB which one of Stroud or Young is number 1.
