Tannehill has shown both wheels and accuracy. He's an actual dual threat QB. Jamalisms

But there are more things to consider between the 2 when it comes to the Titans. Granted I haven't kept up w/ the conversation. oh it's not even a real rational debate. The majority of NFL teams would not change their offense to fit Lamar Jackson. I would think age would be a huge factor in the decision, but acting like it's a landslide for Lamar is BS. A lot of coaches would simply not want to run the type of offense necessary to maximize his skillset. Callidus, rns90, and Justafan

Lamar has developed as a passer, but now he's getting injured is likely a tick slower. The growth from the pocket isn't enough to offset the fact he's a small RB playing QB. The fact he's only won 1 playoff game and never eclipsed 20 points in 4 tries tells you his ceiling is limited.

Even if you add his rushing yards and his passing yards Lamar gains less yards than tannehill does per game... And most of the fan base want to can the shit out of Tanny. Career numbers Edit: I know that isn't the best choice since it was in response to him getting better as a passer but that stat was still fresh in my head when I was looking at both of them earlier today after someone said Lamar only had 1 300 yard passing game in his career (it's actually 3 not that that is much better). This is true but his accuracy has improved. He used to be abysmal with his ball placement.

The original point was that his growth as a passer hasn't been fast enough to compensate for his durability issues as an athlete which he primarily relies on to be a QB. I had a good chuckle at the idea Jackson is the toughest player in the NFL to defend.

I think he's pretty average and goes on some streaks where he looks better than that. It's still a long way from where he started. Go back and watch some of those Louisville cut ups. It's atrocious. AussieTitanFan08
The Titans never engaged in serious discussions with the Bears about the #1 pick the 4 teams reportedly were the Panthers/Raiders/Texans/Colts. IsntLifeFunny
