Will the teams of players being paid in bitcoin get salary cap relief as bitcoins falls to almost nothing?

Also, it reminds me of LTF bragging about all his money.  So obvious he was exaggerating to try and impress a bunch of internet strangers to give legitimacy to his political arguments after getting destroyed in the forum.

All my monetary claims are true, sorry. In fact I had 2 REIT properties sell, made $55,000 and $180,000 before taxes last month.

And I have yet to be destroyed in the Politics forum. Different viewpoints is only destroying someone to the less educated.

Just imagine how bad a businessman must be to bankrupt multiple casinos…

The Titans aren't fools, that shit was converted to US dollars before it ever hit their accounts.

If bitcoin goes negative do the players have to pay the teams?

Lawrence had to pay taxes on that 24 mill too, between the taxes and the BTC loss he's way lower than 8.96 mill

I'm sure that tax was taken out at the beginning and put aside since it's taxed like cash when it's a salary.... it's what a lot of people do when moving big money like that.... and nothing is lost until you sell it so calling anyone a dummy would have to mean they actually lost and sold. Most people wanting Bitcoin are ones wanting it long term.

An intelligent assumption would be that people who got entire signing bonus' in btc are thinking it's going to be worth a lot more than the price at the time of the bonus. ... and therefore won't sell... and therefore still think they are getting a discount.

pretty weird strategy for an investor like you to think you lost money when a market goes down ... considering you say yourself daily here that nothing is lost till you sell

Lol... lots of ignorant morons in this thread

"

And income tax is withheld from players’ paychecks, so Lawrence never had $24 million to lose in the first place. After taxes, Lawrence’s signing bonus was about $15 million, so if he had put his entire signing bonus into Bitcoin, he wouldn’t be out $15 million unless the price of Bitcoin hit zero. And while Bitcoin is down more than 60 percent from its all-time high in November, it’s still nowhere near zero."

Did you see the Bitcoin press conference today?  Its CEo said the same thing.    Willy Wonka, the CEO of Bitcoin, literally just said, "Bitcoin, it is still nowhere near zero."

I saw a congressman trying to argue against a casino being built in his state. The stats he revealed were shocking. 99% of all the winnings the casino pays out they get back for one!

I work in a casino as a table games dealer. I can tell you this is undoubtedly true.

Slot machines can pay back as much as 93%. These places WANT people to see granny winning nickels. Adds to the excitement with noise and lights flashing.  If you notice too, you will never see a clock inside a casino. About the only game you have any realistic chance with is craps, if you know exactly how to play.

Baccarat is very player friendly.

I was talking to a poker dealer and she was telling me she was dealing a table game, forget which one. She was begging this guy to stop and go home as he lost thousands

We had a big player at a casino I used to work at. Anyway he and I usually did quite well on the blackjack table. One day I went there and he was up 40-50k playing 1200 on three spots. On this day during my half hour fortune was on the side of the house. He got down to the point where his profit was only 1k on the day. He told me I'm going to leave and I coaxed him into staying when I said you didn't come here to win 1k. He proceeded to dump another 20k lol.

That's about the coldest story I've since on this site since -- was it @9 Nines -- who told the story about menacing his friend with a shotgun?
