Titans/Colts The 2022 Division Race

There are many Colts fans who really think that since acquiring QB Matt Ryan they are now in the driver seat to win the division and right now they are better than the Titans going into the 2022 regular season.

Also seeing that most media outlets have also went with Indy as who they think will win the division race.

Will be interesting to see who eventually pulls ahead.....

The Titans play two early season division games against the Colts in week four in early October and again in week six in late October.

So the question is who is the stronger team that will take the division this year

Will it be Indy or Tennessee???

@Bongo59 You gotta take this bet.    No matter who loses, we all win!

No wonder why the national media labels the Titans as having one of the worst fan bases in the NFL. Lame ass ignorant posters like yourself who think the Titans are this so called dominant team and th

No they weren't, and they Titans were devastated with injuries

Matt Ryan is a far superior QB to Carson Wentz.  But he’s old, and the culture on that team is garbage.  I think the Colts will compete but ultimately crack again, probably sooner this year.

Ultimately the problem with the Colts is that the leadership on that team is a bunch of blowhard screw ups who don’t seem to take responsibility.  It’s gotta be tough playing for those guys.

Lol You can’t be serious with this post. When if ever have the Colts had a culture problem? And they have strong leadership with Ryan, Leonard, and Nelson.

Indy has a lot of holes & TN has a lot less.  Indy had a lot of turnovers and did nothing with it.  TN had massive injuries, poor QB play, downed playmakers all yr, high TO and still won.  TN defense is way better now in 2022  than it was entering 2021 and that is going to be a problem for the entire AFC when they face this team.  Ryan is a lateral move from Rivers and Wentz.  I look at their defense and still do not see much improvement.  Their LB play avg.  Secondary still soft.  No pass rush and they are not physicial.  TN is the most physical D in the AFC.

Should be fun to see national narratives that Indy is great and TN sucks flop again.

Watching a lot of Saints-Falcons games over the last few years, Ryan has basically been owned by the Saints pass rush.  He's immobile and has started seeing ghosts back there.  If the Titans pass rush from last year wasn't a mirage, then we should fare pretty well.

Is late-stage Matt Ryan going to be better or worse than late-stage Philip Rivers?

I’m going to say about the same. I don’t think he’s as over the hill but he also wasn’t as good as Rivers.

They’ll compete for a playoff spot but the AFC is super tough compared to a few years back. This is the year where you need to win the division bc the wild card race will be tight.

The Colts owner is a drunken clown.  I think the Colts have a good shot this year, but working for that idiot has to be tough.

When you lose to the Jags in a must win, you have a culture problem. And old man Ryan isn’t going to fix it.

Ryan just turned 37. Rivers was nearly 40 when they had him in 2020. Plus Ryan has always been more mobile than Rivers who looks like he is always standing in quicksand.

Oh okay well will your reasoning the Titans must have a culture problem too when they lose to bottom dwellers like the Jets and Texans each year.

You are seriously trying to compare losing an absolute must win in week 17 to a mid season game? Dumb.

It's a regular occurrence with TN. They always seem to lose games to bottom dwelling teams every year. You can't pull that argument with the Colts losing one game at the end of the season, and then not get crap talked back at you when the Titans do it twice a year.
