Popular Post SuperFreak90
From what I've seen of OTAs, is that Robert Woods and Caleb Farley will be ready to go week 1. Omar, XAEA12, Number9, and 3 others

Saffold was so successful due to strength. More flexibility in plays would be nice Outside zone has been the staple of our run game under Vrabel. We were always most successfully running left. I feel like the bigger questions are: 1) what kind of workload will they be ready for? 2) how will they respond medically to all those snaps? We saw what happened with Lewan and Dupree last year. Both had issues. We can’t rely on full workloads from either Woods or Farley right away.
BudsOilers
I think there's an element of the individual plus the severity of their tear. Recoveries are different. No1TitansFan

Obviously it's safer to not expect much the year after an ACL, but seeing the way Woods was running with that brace reminds me of when Jonnu Smith torn his ACL in December and then starting training camp the next year with a brace, got rid of it before the preseason was over and then played all year like nothing had happened. Who knows, everyone is different. Justafan, OILERMAN, reo, and 1 other

Who knows, everyone is different. It certainly could be largely a non-issue. I’m just saying they have to prepare for the worst. Assume he isn’t going to be ready for a full workload right away. The alternative is to assume he will be ready and then have no fallback option if he isn’t. reo

But JRob also did JRob things and drafted Wes Welker+ later in the draft so it might net out ok. Good times. David Long turned out to be better than Rashaan Evans. It's not implausible the the above is true. That said, way too early to freak out about Burks.

Well Burks is a slower WR who struggles with route running and separation, so yeah it does. Even Derrick Mason on the Zone today said Burks lacks in separation and explosiveness. reo, and Starkiller 1
