Potential new stadium would be ready for the 2026 season

TPAC just leases space from the state. The building they currently rent from can be sold for 100s of millions, but they (the state of TN) would need to find another space for TPAC to lease. It makes total sense to create an entertainment district around a riverfront sports stadium and have a state/city run arts organization as a long term tenant.

I misread what Nash said. I can definitely see TPAC moving to this complex. Makes sense.

I live in Portland, It is indeed a shithole, tents, garbage, and graffiti everywhere. City leaders play the blame game. It use to be a beautiful and safe city, not anymore, besides we don't have a stadium. We spend our money on bike paths and supporting those that choose not to work

Lol shut the fuck up

LOL if the city botches this as the Titans just admitted that the current stadium isn't up to NFL standards......I'm sure St. Louis or San Antonio would love the team!

I would really enjoy such an outcome.

Go soak a sandpaper, razorblade-studded dildo in alcohol and fuck yourself to death with it, motherfucker.

I know it won't happen because they want the stadium within walking proximity to downtown, it looks cool to have a stadium right in the heart of middle TN, and ASSCAR fans would riot, but a good idea to me would be to level the Nashville Superspeedway and put a stadium there. They could really do it up big kinda like how the Cowboys stadium complex is. They could even move BSP there (yes, I know it's St. Thomas now... idgaf).

Or, if the yells of unfairness from ASSCAR fans were loud enough then just leave the Superspeedway there but build the Titans stadium adjacent to that.

They be smart to keep the NASCAR track as is........Unless they find a way to pay for a new stadium, time's a ticking on having an NFL team.  Just like every city that has lost and gained teams in the last 30 years.  If you build it, they will come.  If you don't, they will leave.  Ask Cleveland, Houston, St. Louis, Oakland, and San Diego.  The NFL doesn't lose.

Not St. Louis.  It's Cardinals country, and although it would be awesome to have them so close, we would be right back to moving again in another 20 years because the fans support baseball and some hockey...that's about it.

San Antonio would be interesting though.

All that said, if Vrabel were to head the team moving to another city, would there be a single Fisher trait that he didn't possess?

Of course, I could see the NFL pushing St. Louis because of the lawsuit even if it's leverage to make Nashville pay for the bulk of a new stadium.

It would be really funny to me if they moved to St. Louis to the one city/team that beat them in the Super Bowl.

Also really funny that the Nashville fans don't seem to grasp how new stadium funding is so critical.  The team doesn't want to move but neither did Modell, Bud, Spanos, or Mark Davis.  Kroenke is the only owner who wanted to move.

Why do you assume that Nashville fans don't grasp the importance of a new stadium?

The importance of the funding.  The thing people there should be paying attention to is that the Titans President stated that nobody knows how they will pay for it while also admitting that the current stadium is not up to NFL standards.  If the city/state botches the funding, the team almost assuredly will move.  As I stated before, I don't care as I've followed them from city to city.

I get all of that. And I agree. I'm just asking why you assume that people don't get that or aren't paying attention to it?

The reaction I see is exclusively great and pondering what other developments will go there - i.e. assuming it's a done deal.  It clearly isn't.
