OzTitan
The OL wasn't eligible, he was the RG on the play. He took the screen and YOLO'd to a touchdown, but it got called back for illegal touching. rns90, Number9, and Mythos27

People must actually turn down the audio because they explained the play. They should think about making him eligible in the future. He's got a nose for the goal line. The Steelers and Patriots are threats because they can both put a loss on the Titans and benefit from the tie breaker. Titans need to keep treating the regular season as the playoffs. That's if they win out and we don't... The steelers will play the Browns and Ravens and Bengals. They aren't winning all three of those, much less every other game on their schedule. 10 A See
What the Dolphins did to Lamar reminded me of what the Ravens did to Mariota. That was the beginning of the end for our franchise savior. rns90
rns90
You could tell it confused him too. A lot of the times the snaps were up against the play clock/almost at zero.
Bongo59
Miami sent speed after him. You have too. But if he got loose against man to man he would have been running all night. Edited November 12, 2021 by Bongo59
Bongo59
I thought it was aggressive but when you are 2-7 you need to risk something to get a payoff.
Alcibiades
Shurmer has covid and can't coach this weekend I guess. OBJ signed with Rams, but too late to get his ass beat by us. Ravens look like shit. IDK....this season is pretty awesome. 10 A See, Titan8425, and Mythos27
IsntLifeFunny
Watching that game showed what most of us have been saying for years that the mush rush is simply a terrible concept as a game plan. It can be used in certain spots to throw off running QB’s, but if the QB knows it’s coming he’s going to sit in the pocket and either throw down field or he will find a crease anyways and exploit it. Run the regular defense and if it burns you then don’t worry because you were going to get eaten up anyways while having a much lower probability of affecting guys like Lamar and Kyler. It's kind of the natural progression of mobile QB's who start out beating teams with their running and explosive plays outside containment. Teams want to force them to stay in the pocket and beat them throwing it. In the case of Jackson, they have made that jump this year to willingly pass from the pocket as opposed to one read and takeoff running. As such, teams adjust and both Cincy and Miami were effective in rushing Jackson and forcing him to process information quickly knowing he won't be as willing to take off on run. Now it's up to Baltimore to adjust to the adjustment. Much like in baseball where teams adjust to hitters and force the batter to improve in their weak spots (guy kills the fastball so he won't see many of them), football is the same. That's why some mobile guys like VY and Mariota flame out after initial success and others (Young, McNair, etc.) improve their games when teams counter and takeaway the areas where you initially succeeded. Joel is fucking insane. The Dolphins scored a TD and three FG on offense. And the two big plays were coverage busts by the S (I think) as you noted. And he thinks this is a great offensive performance? japan
