Seahawks were 4-12 on 3rd down, 33%

While the defense did allow 30 points, I thought that they looked much improved. First, the pass rush generated pressure throughout the game which is a huge improvement on last year; even if the Seaha

Didn’t you refer to the defense as putrid today?

They were in parts against a gimpy QB the true test of this defense won't come until they run into the Bills/Chiefs/Rams over a 4 week span.

Baby steps. I'm starting to think this defense will at least be able to handle the non elite offenses which would be a huge upgrade from last year.

I agree. That said, run defense is still shit. Will have to watch the All-22 but Simmons got moved against his will multiple times in key run stopping opportunities. That can't happen consistently.

The Titans can def be run on. I think it has more to do with Evans and Brown than Simmons though.

Going to be interesting to see what they do at OLB with Weaver leaving the stadium post game on crutches on the back of a cart, Roberson also dealing with a knee injury and then there is Dupree that honestly probably could do with a stint on short term IR (not expecting that is what the team will do though)

Yes but that goes without saying, which is why I didn't lol. It was jarring to watch Simmons get easily moved though.

Clearly Jackson passed Molden in the depth chart after Molden kept getting burned. The slot is going to be our weak link against high powered offenses. Also, where does Molden go from here?  Not like he can suddenly get faster.

He was in as a 3rd safety when we went dime. It's an ideal role for him as he develops. It's where Hooker cut his teeth as a youngin.

His future is at Safety.
