Popular Post flaming_thumbtack
While the defense did allow 30 points, I thought that they looked much improved. First, the pass rush generated pressure throughout the game which is a huge improvement on last year; even if the Seahawk’s OLine isn’t great, we struggled last year even against bad OLines. Second, the secondary looked genuinely good today outside of 2 plays. Fulton locked down DK and even frustrated him to the point of an uncalled unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Because of these two improvements,, they were able to step up huge on 3rd downs as well. We were constantly getting off the field on third despite the best efforts of the refs who had some questionable placements. All that said, those two home run plays can’t happen. Fortunately one of them just looked like a miscommunication which is easily fixable, but if we prevent those two plays we probably blow them out. Also, it should be noted that the Seahawks did have a 6 yard TD thanks to the fumble, and it’s tough to ask your defense to do too much from their own six. I’m not trying to say that the defense is top of the line or anything, but watching this group today was a giant breath of fresh air compared to last year. Hope they can keep it up. terradawg
Fulton is showing up. McDougal or whoever was playing safety…please don’t get on the plane back home. Just horrific all around. DCTitan, Starkiller, and Mythos27 1
AJClown
The defense in the 4th was awesome. Big reason why we won, I thought we had lost when Tannehill took two sacks back to back in the most important drives of the game It was Henry led by this defense that won us this game. Popular Post titanskick8851
The defense really settled in when they got Cruikshank back at S and put Jackson in at NB. Hope to see that continue. I was always a big proponent of Cruikshank because of his athletic profile. He’s a guy they can man up against good TEs but his athleticism in the back end could be a big help. Better late than never to see him make it into the defense. Popular Post AussieTitanFan08
Fulton and Landry have been excellent to start the season also thought we got a glimpse today of just how big a loss Hooker will be, also shout out to Dupree he is clearly no where near fully healthy but he is still just gritting his teeth and doing the best he can. begooode, DCTitan, Starkiller, and 7 others 9
DallasTitan
Fulton looked great today! They had to take out Molden because he looked to be getting burnt regularly! Great win today and the pass rush looked good titanskick8851
rns90
I think they might have to bring in another S since McDougald was awful.
