I saw a couple blurbs that the data shows that Georgia is now only 50.1% white.    America as a whole is 58% white, 19% Hispanic, 12% black, and 11% Asian/Other.    Get ready to be

there is a theory floating around that the numbers are artificial due to Trump supporters not wanting to answer the census. it will be interesting to see if that is true or not.

I'm not a fight fire with fire guy but NY dems should absolutely do this.

Doyle serves a very blue district (basically Pittsburgh and its nearest southern suburbs). He’s run unopposed in the past and won the district with ~70% of the popular vote last year.

David Price is from a super blue district he has dominated forever.

Unless I’m mistaken, don’t see either going red.

Yeah, point taken but they are about to be in the minority for awhile and will have no power.

Price is 81. Doyle isn’t quite that old but he's almost 70.

I don’t think that either of them are giving up cushy House seats just because they might end up in the minority. They have spent many years in the minority.

But it doesn’t really matter as long as the districts are solidly blue and don’t seem remotely likely to flip.

Sure, so it is good timing to retire. There will be more retirements as well.

Very few if any retirements are gonna be in swingy districts.

Also... say what you want about Palmer Report... but this should be a factor in the 2022 discussions. Shitty GOP candidates

Democrats have slept on this issue for years and will now pay the price over a 2nd 10 year cycle. I wonder if the Dems will even have a shot to hold the House over the next 10 years?

Democrats are too busy infighting while trying to pass legislation that might help someone other than the super wealthy to play dirty.
