Cue the "but Jonboy loves Bridgewater!" folks, but I had to do something for us to commemorate this special occasion. All in good fun. This place wouldn't be what it is without posts/moments like this

MOD UPDATE

Hope this doesn’t eat into Josh Reynolds snaps.

And I thought you still couldn't trade future compensatory picks (because you might not really get them).  This is a clever way to do it, especially if you're certain you will get that pick.

Thus "conditional"

Not sure how people expected a hall-of-famer who was a prime player outside of an injury would look lol.

It'd be more of a surprise if he looks "old" come this season.  Before his injury he was still elite.

Whaaaaaa?  Had a say so in where he was traded?  He talked to players to find out about the city prior to coming?  Whaaaa?  You would think he knew this deal was going to made prior to it being announced.  Even Terry Robiske knew.  Guess things aren't as secretive as you idiots tried to make it out to be.  Like these words from the Righteous One  from the prior thread were prophetic.

On the other end, Julio Jones is a veteran and an icon in Atlanta.  Do you think a story would leak about a trade before the FO confronted him and his agent about it?  And his agent would be pretty clear on the teams that are interested and what would need to happen with restructuring his deal to make a trade work.  Jones has earned the right to decide which interested team he wants to play for.  He then contacts players he knows on each team to find out how life is in the city, things about the coaching staff, etc. before he makes his decision.

They treated their franchise icon with class and probably asked him where he wanted to be traded to out of the interested teams. Unlike the titans who locked out McNair and traded him to Baltimore lol
