Popular Post BudsOilers
Based on the comments I've seen from the 2nd year players, the lack of on the field offseason activities really seemed to hurt them. Hopefully the 2nd year guys can make a big leap in production. No1TitansFan, SleepingTitan, Omar, and 2 others

A lot of rookies last year played well and showed lots of flash, our rookies were all hurt or jsut not very good japan, and BudsOilers

tgo
By the way, having researched Downings offense in Oakland more recently, his RBs catch a lot more passes than they did under Smith. This is playing out at OTAs with the RBs splitting out, including Hill and Evans who actually worked at WR too. This would explain Henry working on that aspect of his game more this offseason. Expect more RB targets and more targets to Firkser this year, and a more dynamic short to intermediate passing game in general, will just lose some YAC in that department with Jonnu and Davis departing, but probably will have more schematic expansiveness in that area of the field. scine09, and Justafan
AussieTitanFan08
Couple of nuggets in Wyatt's OTA report - Sounds like Teair Tart has returned in much better physical shape - Rashad Weaver size/athleticism is standing out - Wyatt still expects the team to add a veteran TE - Pinkney wasn't on the field today - Only 50-60 players were on the field today. Really is disappointing the Colts have basically their entire roster working out during phase 2/phase 3 of OTA's and our veteran guys have largely decided to stay away, this means they will get 3 weeks of extra on field time together than the Titans this offseason. I far prefer that style of offense. IMO they don’t incorporate the short passing game into the offense enough. tgo, and IsntLifeFunny

Wyatt also said he expects more veteran starters to show up for the next two rounds of OTAs leading up to mandatory minicamp. Could be an understanding/compromise between the starters and Vrabel that instead of significantly altering the work schedule as some teams have done, that the veterans just show up later - allowing the younger guys more time to work in this first round of veteran OTAs.
