So 5 in 5 years is your basis to say all cops are bad?

at what point does "the only way to prevent the police department from killing more citizens is to increase their funding" look like extortion?

Justice has been served.

Are you also a Q retard who thought Trump was gonna be president despite the election clearly proving he wasn't? How did that turn out for you.   Shut up with your stupid ass shit for once.

How many people shot in NY, Chicago, New Orleans, Atlanta on any given weekend? How about Minneapolis? But you harp on a handful of questionable shootings in a year? Do you think any of these cities and their citizens are now safer since defund the police, oversight boards, anti cop rhetoric and violence?

Keep up the bullshit...and you call conservatives dumb...lol...

@Rogue, politics is the most corrupt BY FAR.

Cherry picking a few bad cops and extrapolating it to the majority/all cops should not be trusted is liberal logic idiocy.

I love how you guys can’t accept there can be corrupt police and justice departments.

I never said that. There are bad people in every profession, and yes bad/corrupt cops and corrupt FBI. But you want to paint the entire department/profession based on the actions of a few.

How many is "wayyyyyy too many blatant instances of bad cops lying to cover their ass or shift blame" and please support your stance with facts.

How many riots is enough to make it "the way of the left" or whatever stupid shit you say..... Either way, it's exponentially more times the cops try to cover their ass than the country burns

@LongTimeFan

https://policecrime.bgsu.edu/Home/Crimes#

From 2005-2015 there have been 2,563 arrests made of police officers violating their oath, misconduct, false reports, and tampering/destorying evidence.... Over 1,000 arrest alone specifically related to destroying evidence and false reports

Do those numbers seem like way too many to you? Or should we just accept that cops make so many arrests so those numbers should just be looked over

And those are just the number of arrests actually made

So that's 256 per year, so does that condemn all or a majority of officers as being untrustworthy? 256 out of 10 million arrests per year. Yeah, shut down all the cops!!! You're an idiot.

Yes, 5 cops getting arrested a week and having those charges relating to them tampering with, destroying evidence, false reports and all around very clearly them abusing their power because they are an authoritative power is more than enough of reason to second guess someone and not take their word for gospel in a situation they need to cover their ass.

But I'm also sure you think that every cop that has every done anything bad has gotten arrested for it.

But hey, let's miscontrue my words on purpose and "shut down all cops" because I am pointing out thousands of factual examples of cops very clearly breaking the law or falsifying facts simply to save their own ass.

Your best point was that those were only the cops who were held responsible. We have no idea how many did the same thing and were held accountable.

This documentary exposes the many lies and hidden truths regarding the whole affair.  For instance the Chief of Police testified that the MRT was not a trained Minneapolis police defensive tactics technique.   Yet the technique clearly was in the training material, but the judge refused to allow the evidence to be shown to the jury.

Also in the bystander video that was released, it appears that Chauvin’s knee was on Floyd’s neck.   But in bodycam footage not released, his knee appears to be on Floyd’s shoulder.   Furthermore, the original autopsy report found there was no physical evidence suggesting that Floyd died of asphyxiation.  What they did find was Floyd had a fatal level of fentanyl in his blood, along with meth.   Floyd also had COVID and heart disease, with one artery 75% obstructed.
