Justice has been served.

Are you also a Q retard who thought Trump was gonna be president despite the election clearly proving he wasn't? How did that turn out for you.   Shut up with your stupid ass shit for once.

I am glad that a just verdict was returned.  But this is an ongoing problem.  There's little point in celebrating after the first mile of a marathon.

The greater good might be served if someone brutally kills him in prison:

1) Lessen police brutality by sending a sobering notice to mean cops for what they could expect if they slip-up in doing something similar to what Chauvin did;

2) Spare the risk of an appeal overturn which would likely incite violence across the whole country.

Not really.  The best example is to have him rot in prison.

As for lessening police brutality, I think the word is out that the days of the police union and DA wiping away acts like this are over.  It's still not going to prevent incidents - all of which are unique in nature based on the circumstances of the encounter.

Oh he's going to get buttfucked and when a cock is shoved in his throat he won't be able to breath.

How long does he have?   Can the prison give him 24 hours protection his entire sentence, because if not, he will be killed.

He's not going in gen pop with all of the other murderers. It's not like he's the first police officer ever to be put in prison, not even the first convicted of murder.

Who in the hell wants to be a cop

Complicated question.  I'm sure there are those that just want to serve the community, and there are those with different motives.  I think this is where there needs to some level of scrutiny in hiring, and certainly scrutiny after the fact.

I'm not a all cops are bad guy, but we're at a place where a revisitation on hiring and training needs to be addressed.  It's not just about race, which is unfortunately where the emphasis is, but is police conduct in general.  There needs to be a higher standard and I'm perfectly fine with increasinging their pay.   It can be a dangerous job, and I'm okay with making their pay reflect that.  However, there should be standards, because this is literally government control over people.   The idea that the police officer can do no wrong needs to be addressed.
