Its not that simple. Trump and Pompeo may have done enough to damage the deal beyond the point of return. It will be interesting to see how Biden and his team navigate it.

Trump abandoned it, but the deal was made with multiple countries and is still in place. Biden should be able to just agree to return to the deal as long as Iran agrees to go back to it as well.

The holdup is that McConnell wants a commitment to leave the legislative filibuster in place. Schumer should compromise and agree to leave it in place for at least 1 or 2 years (rather than indefinitely), since he doesn't have the votes to remove it anyway.
