Damn, you guys have had quite the overhaul on that station in the last few years. Who's left??

I think George Plaster is on an AM radio station.  Mark Howard is guest hosting with Stillman on 102.5.  That's pretty much what's left of the old school guys as far as I know.  It's funny how only the shitty ones are left.

I would never even for 10 seconds give Clay Travis a listen.

I thought Clay Travis was funny in his early days on 104.5.   But then he really jumped the shark with his alt right conspiracy theories and delusions of grandeur so I promptly wrote him off

I can't stand Clay Travis. Sure as fuck not going to listen to anything on his network unless there are worthwhile interviews archived here and there.

Clay Travis just seems like a Dollar Tree Jim Rome to me, and I can't stand Jim Rome, but getting Withrow/Hutton/PK has to be seen as a boost for his endeavors. Those three have a lot of fans who will follow them over to Outkock so it looks like a wise endeavor. And they may have more freedom to say what they really want to say away from Cumulus' watchful eye which may result in better content than they put out on Midday180. We'll see.

Also, if helps further the "fuck ESPN" movement in any incremental way then more power to them.

Going to Outkick is pathetic.

Where should they have gone? Where could they have gone if they were interested in staying a trio? A national platform? Local? Which local platform could have afforded them? Which national platform would have been looking for them?

And tbh, would people have been nearly as interested in them separately as they would have together?

Stayed at 104.5

They chose this.

I thought they just left for greener pastures.

Idk either way. Could be it was their choice, but 104.5 has been making a few lineup changes in the past year or two. Used to be 3HL was what's his face, Mickey Ryan, and Blaine Bishop. Then they moved Bishop to the morning show with Mark Howard and brought in Davenport. Then they cut Mark Howard loose and moved Bishop to a show inbetween the midday180 and 3HL with Mickey Ryan, and moved the midday180 further into the morning spot. Now the midday180 is done and Withrow/Hutton/PK are moving to Outkick. There may be other changes they've made, but that's just off the top of my head.

People might not like the move to Outkick because of Travis and his politics, but as long as the content winds up being good after the dust settles who cares?

So did they leave of their own volition or did 104.5 decide to make changes?

It's my understanding that they left of their own volition. I haven't seen that definitively stated by someone who is authoritative on the subject.
