Agreed. He's been inconsistent but missing all that time for a corner is major. With that being said, he seems to be hurt all the time.

This has been Adoree since he’s been with the Titans. Very few TO. Always in the right place to make tackle. Rarely breakup up the pass. Jason McCorty 2.0.

Titans have a number of veteran starters who have buy-out clauses this offseason. We don't know what the salary cap will be in 2021. But there is always some desire to create cap space to add an

I don't trust Jackson. He's not anywhere near what a #1 CB should be.

It will be difficult to cut Butler. He is the only CB who didn’t have a terrible year.    Vaccaro is the easiest cut on the team, he sucks. Agree that Kelly and Humphries can go

This is horse shit. He has had 11, 10 and 14. Every time in the top 40. Out of hundreds of defenders and 128 starting defensive backs.

Not saying he is elite but this is as dumb as the conk can't pass block crap when he was top 5 in pass block win rate before we let him go.

Edit: he does suck at getting picks.

JMac was a solid player for a long time, certainly no all-pro but a solid starter. Adoree hasn't proven he's up to that level yet.

Just to compare: Jmac missed 6 games his first 4 seasons and collected 8 INTs. Adoree missed 18 games his first 4 seasons and collected 2 INTs.

Adoree is a number 2 -- at best -- that CANNOT be relied on.

There's nothing wrong with him being a number 2 CB since there aren't that many "number 1 shutdown CB".  I mean they can win with it.  I worry more about overpaying him and his health.

This makes more sense than what @Japan said. He can cover and he can break up passes. Lack of ints and poor tackling at the second level is true. I never said he was elite.

The problem with looking at pass breakups is that we've been shoddy at corner for a while. And tbh his PD's aren't that good anyway. He hasn't been tested.

Bottom line: we need to pick a corner high or choose a lower school 2nd rounder.
