So the President of the United States can not express anger because his nut job followers will react a certain way?

 @Mythos27

You mean can he lie to them for months about the election being stolen from them and then direct thousands of armed, violent protesters to the US Capitol to fight and say you have to show strength?

No...

@titanthakur

Bc the president tried to overthrow our democracy.

He can definitely express anger. What he can't do is peddle lies to work good voters up for months, incite the crowd to violence, then do nothing to try get them to stop until the new president public

he isn’t the first president to use rhetoric like this and he won’t be the last. Stop looking for a scape goat to blame problems on.

Which other president has ever used Trump’s rhetoric about a rigged election???

She wasn't elected but Hillary Clinton.

Or how about the rigged DNC for the last 8 years. Shoulda been Bernie 2x.

Stop lying. Hillary never once said the election was rigged. And she outright conceded the morning after Election Day.

And the DNC didn’t rig elections. They couldn’t if they tried. Primary elections are run by the states.

He can't repeatedly lie to his followers to incite them to violence by telling them the election was rigged and then tell them to march on the capitol.

Telling people to protest peacefully and patriotically is inciting violence.

It's like when there is a hate crime ala George Floyd and many political leaders said to protest peacefully.

Enjoy over reacting

I choose America, you choose extremism. If the events of the past two months don't make you understand our democracy is being stressed and led to an insurrection attempt led by the dumb ass President then you are hopeless.

"We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated. Lawfully slated.

I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Today, we will see whether Republicans stand strong for the integrity of our elections. But whether or not they stand strong for our country — our country, our country has been under siege for a long time. Far longer than this four-year period.

We’ve set it on a much straighter course, a much — and we — I thought, you know, four more years. I thought it would be easy. We created the greatest economy in history. We rebuilt our military. We get you the biggest tax cuts in history, right? We got the biggest regulation cuts. There is no president, whether it’s four years, eight years, or in one case more got anywhere near the regulation cuts."

That is the quote that everyone is screaming from the rooftops that Trump is in the clear of inciting violence. Even that is filled with his violent undertones and rhetoric that him being president is still in everyone's best interest and what should happen.
