titanskick8851
This is why the coaching carousel is so important for us. If we are going to be hiring a new OC/DC/STC, then we need to be having those conversations now. Position coaches need to be decided upon as well if there is to be any changes and you want your pick of the litter vs. hiring inexperience or a guy too old. The best HC's are great at something - leadership, management, or in some cases play calling. Sean Payton hasn't won a SB in 11 years while having a HOF QB and lost some brutal playoff games to lesser teams. If a defensive oriented HC is a good developer of coaching talent and he has an elite QB, he can be fine with different coordinators. titanskick8851

Esp if able to keep overall scheme continuity and developing/promoting internal candidates. That limits major verbiage and major philosophy changes.

AussieTitanFan08
If Vrabel refuses to inject fresh coaching faces to his defensive coaching staff this offseason he is really putting the heat on himself in 2021, he wouldn't want the defense to be an abomination again and the team struggles that would put him firmly on the hot seat at the end of 2021. tgo
