TitansGuru
Long overdue in my opinion. I know it's a hard job but we've some decent coached come through and it was obvious Mason wasn't going to be one.
chef
Nice guy, great rah rah type, but was obviously in over his head from the get go, and when he didn't have better coordinators around him - which was often - it really did show up. I wish him all the best, but at this point I'd say take a year off, then get back to coaching defense. In some ways it's a shame he wasn' an a-hole. Would have been let go long ago. kgsTitan
Did a bunch of players quit over this female kicker thing? I just saw something about that, but others are saying its over CoVID and/or the coach firing. I wonder if they can still give her the Heisman if there's no more games.? No1TitansFan
He wasn't going to last anyways, but to expect him to do anything with a team already operating with a talent deficiency ravaged by Covid as bad or worse than any other team in the conference playing a SEC only schedule was wistful thinking at best. bondra316v2
I heard an interview with Vandy commit CJ Taylor yesterday on the Mid-Day 180 and he sure made it sound like he had been told Jamey Chadwell at Coastal Carolina is going to be the next coach at Vandy. Apparently every coach at Coastal started following all the Vandy commits and recruiting targets on Twitter.
