@TF_Titan nailed it. The lack of of a quick passing game is killing the Titans with all the OL injuries. Tannehill is plenty accurate enough to go to a quick passing game some of the time. Might also help him get into rhythm.

Part of the problem is missing Humphries but also defenses really keying in on the middle/intermediate passing game.

@SleepingTitan Humphries is for sure the quickest receiver in and out of breaks. Batson is the quickest as a ball carrier.

Yeah he’s so quick he gets destroyed every play. He has to slow down before he gets killed. He’s fast but doesn’t have the vision like hill does.

Uh he absolutely is. His feet, and route running and breaks are how he can get open near instantaneously.

The problem with your statement is feet, route running and breaks have nothing to do with quickness. Those are mental prep and agility attributes. Raymond, Batson and Jonnu are easily quicker AND faster than Hump. We're not really missing Hump right now. We're missing an Oline.

Also, maybe blitzing a QB every once in a while isn't the worst idea?

It's another part of Vrabel's conservative nature

Super run heavy and soft passing coverage with 3 and 4 man rushes on defense

Is that a good thing?

In the long run maybe. Obviously it would be better if the offense was still rolling with the OL injuries etc, but this team is not looking like it can do much in 2020 so at least there shouldn't be an OC gap to fill in 2021.
