FRT
Time to play him. He’s the first round pick. Time to grow up or go away. MV needs to win the AFC South and if not JRob needs to hold the assets accountable including some pretty poor decisions he made himself this offseason. Really simple when you think about it. Yeah, he's replacing Kelly, not Conklin. Can't be much worse.

Tex in a Can
Vrabel's presser comments : "We have talked to Isaiah about just continuing to string some days together, positive days," Vrabel said, "and just coming in here, being prepared, and practicing and proving to everybody that he knows what to do and he plays in a manner in which we expect our offensive linemen to play." abenjami
I can't remember a first round pick on any team who has been babied like this guy. DCTitan, and kgsTitan
japan
Just now, abenjami said: I can't remember a first round pick on any team who has been babied like this guy. He’s been babied? Other than not cutting him because he’s a first rounder how is this unprecedented babying? Vrabel never seems to have much good to say about him.

He's a first round pick at a non-skill position who hasn't been allowed to set foot on the playing field, even when the depth in front of him is in shambles. They're apparently unwilling to throw him in the water because they know he can't swim.

He's not ready and they're scared as hell if he has to play important snaps.

AussieTitanFan08
I do wonder if Vrabel/Carter still have conditioning concerns with Wilson and aren't confident he can handle the load of an entire NFL game right now, important to remember we are only 3 months removed from a guy who was struggling with some post covid effects who would struggle to get from one play to another during training camp and was that tired after practice he would fall asleep in the ice bath every day. There have been enough comments from coaches/players/media over the last couple of months to suggest Wilson simply wasn't putting enough effort into practice and preparation to deserve any game time as a Titan, the question is has he done enough over the last 5ish weeks of practice to convince the people who matter Vrabel/Carter/JRob/OL teammates that they can trust him. What I will say is the limited clips released of Wilson in practice/before games working out over the last couple of weeks is that he physically looks to be in better shape and his technique is starting to improve. tgo, and IsntLifeFunny

If I was a first round pick with a bunch of injuries at my position, after a week 11 game, and the head coach said this I would know the score.
