Titans And The Schedule Remaining (Playoff Race)

The teams below are all in the hunt in the AFC Playoff Race with a huge amount of teams right now sitting at 6-3, I didn't include the 9-0 Steelers or 8-1 Chiefs as both most likely have the top two spots locked up.

So that leaves 5 playoff spots remaining ,at least one spot will go to the AFC East and another spot for the AFC South division winners.

This is the perfect example of someone who doesn’t understand pro football.

If you don't want me to ignore you, get off your ALT account, discuss like an adult, and move past the over emotional responses.

Watching something is not the same as understanding something.  I could watch a car be assembled and still have no fucking clue how it works.

6 of those 7 teams are making the playoffs.  My guess is the Dolphins, as good as they have been recently are the odd team out just based on their remaining schedule.

Make no mistake though, the Titans MUST play better if they want to make the playoffs because their schedule is much more difficult than some of these other teams.

I look at it as the Titans have to win vs the Jags, Lions, and Texans. That gets us to 9 wins by itself.

So all we really need to do is win 2 of the 4 games vs. the Ravens, Colts, Browns, and Packers. .500.

We do that and we will have 11 wins. We will almost certainly make the playoffs and assuming we beat the Colts can easily still win the division.

The problem is when you are terrible in 2 phases (defense and special teams) you are more prone to losing to inferior teams unless the offense is perfect.

Yeah, I think we are in a predicament as fans.  Anything can happen in the playoffs, but I find it hard to believe our defense can keep playoff teams from scoring 40 points when they can't keep shitty teams from sustaining drives.

at the recent pace it looks a lot like 9-7 again

Vrabel needs to get out of the offense and get a real DC.

Our ST coach never should have been hired either.

We can make a turnaround and get hot again, but it's going to be hard to find that. Adoree, David Long Jr (not starting), D Evans(still injured), and Isaiah Wilson (retarded) are basically our only hopes going forward to make a step that adds something.

Would be awesome to see the defense play better and the team win these next two. Winning the Colts game would be good as we could go down to the final week for the division as long as they keep winning the games they should win like Hou,Jax,Det,etc.
