MIKE75
The teams below are all in the hunt in the AFC Playoff Race with a huge amount of teams right now sitting at 6-3, I didn't include the 9-0 Steelers or 8-1 Chiefs as both most likely have the top two spots locked up. So that leaves 5 playoff spots remaining ,at least one spot will go to the AFC East and another spot for the AFC South division winners. Justafan
6 of those 7 teams are making the playoffs. My guess is the Dolphins, as good as they have been recently are the odd team out just based on their remaining schedule. Make no mistake though, the Titans MUST play better if they want to make the playoffs because their schedule is much more difficult than some of these other teams. titanskick8851
I look at it as the Titans have to win vs the Jags, Lions, and Texans. That gets us to 9 wins by itself. So all we really need to do is win 2 of the 4 games vs. the Ravens, Colts, Browns, and Packers. .500. We do that and we will have 11 wins. We will almost certainly make the playoffs and assuming we beat the Colts can easily still win the division. oldschool

The problem is when you are terrible in 2 phases (defense and special teams) you are more prone to losing to inferior teams unless the offense is perfect. Yeah, I think we are in a predicament as fans. Anything can happen in the playoffs, but I find it hard to believe our defense can keep playoff teams from scoring 40 points when they can't keep shitty teams from sustaining drives. bizzyeddie
our special teams is terrible but there is always the chance that you can squeak thru a game and it not ruin you. defense is not good but good enough if the O is doing ok. Hyperion
We're going to need to win a lot of games. There is no backing into the playoffs this year for anybody because there are just too many solid teams. freakingeek
BudsOilers
I think they need 10 wins to make it. Clearly winning games against the other 6 win teams would be huge. freakingeek
Hyperion
If the Titans win the next Colts game, they should be able to win the division. The Colts schedule is full of losable games and undoubtedly they're not winning them all.
titanruss
at the recent pace it looks a lot like 9-7 again Vrabel needs to get out of the offense and get a real DC. Our ST coach never should have been hired either. We can make a turnaround and get hot again, but it's going to be hard to find that. Adoree, David Long Jr (not starting), D Evans(still injured), and Isaiah Wilson (retarded) are basically our only hopes going forward to make a step that adds something. ctm
The raiders game this Sunday against the chiefs was omitted from the OP. Another problem for the Titans....only 2 of the remaining 7 games are at home. Edited November 17, 2020 by ctm freakingeek
AvgJoe
Beat the Ravens this week, that’s the focus. One game at a time. And then the Colts game is essentially a playoff game. rns90
MIKE75
Would be awesome to see the defense play better and the team win these next two. Winning the Colts game would be good as we could go down to the final week for the division as long as they keep winning the games they should win like Hou,Jax,Det,etc. Edited November 17, 2020 by MIKE75
MIKE75
Once we get to the postseason (IF we get there) anything is possible. We have proven in 2018 and 2020 we are built for the playoffs having won one on the road in 2018 and two in 2020.
