The Tennessee Titans are one of eight teams allowing more than 400 yards per game on defense. They are one of four teams with just seven sacks or less on the season.

Of particular concern is the red zone defense — where the Titans allow teams to score touchdowns on 80% of possessions (second-most in the league) — and third downs — on which the Titans allow opponents to convert a league-high 61% of tries.

Through the first seven weeks of the year, the Titans defense has been historically bad on third downs. No team in the last 30 years has allowed a higher percentage of third downs to be converted through their first six games.

Yards, no sacks, historically bad 3rd down, really bad red zone ... there are other stats that show how bad they've been. But this article discusses how a turn around could happen.

I remember this play from the game.

I won't speak to the scheme either way, but if goober ass hadn't bitten so horribly toward the middle maybe he'd have been in position to potentially make the tackle. As it is he just does his best DeRon Jenkins/Lamont Thompson impersonation.

Have always been listening and keep it up guys!

I'm surprised, with all the talk of the defense there was little mention of how much we blitzed big ben and we don't really run man defense (we just dont  have the  personal). I was texting with a buddy in the first half and commenting how many deflected passes we had and the big FF, but the ball just wasn't bouncing our way. I said to watch out if that was to continue we would get some turnovers.

I think that's the strategy, make long drives and train the d specifically for turnovers. The more plays the opponent has the more chances for mistakes.

I also think We either need to figure out a way to get an athletic man corner if we decide not to extend Adoree in the offseason.

Did somebody tell Jamal to start cursing more? You OK buddy?

My wife and kids have told me that my temper and my language have both gone rather far south during the quarantine.
