She's held to an absurd stance as a black woman. Even lefties do it and most of them don't even realize it. The double standard needs to stop and that only happens if white dudes start acknowledging it.

Exactly.  She had to avoid the angry black woman tag at all cost.  Her demeanor was everything. Second task....do no harm.  They were playing defense.

Trump even tried to brand her this AM, calling her a monster twice.  But that isn't what people saw.

No, people just saw a huge liar.   Time for the libtard media to call her out.   That quote from Abe Lincoln was an outright fabrication.

Sounds like the general public liked Harris more than people here did.

Anecdotally it's pretty clear that the "I'm speaking" and other performative moments really connected to college educated women in particular who really identified with a man talking over them and asserting their (often wrong) opinions. Saw that type of positive reaction all over social media.

Conservative men really hate her though.

She's a threat to the "get back in the kitchen bitch" conservatives. We have a few here @Little Earl @Soxcat

While the circumstances were virtually identical and Lincoln did postpone his nomination until after the election......Factcheck.org reports that the quote Harris has attributed to Lincoln can be neither confirmed nor denied.

https://www.factcheck.org/2020/10/kamala-harris-honest-abe-and-the-supreme-court/

But the precedent is quite clear.   In 1864, Lincoln refused to railroad the process by forcing a nomination days before an election.   Four years ago, the Republican senate majority affirmed this precendent by refusing confirmation, stating unequivocally that the American people should be allowed to decide by first electing the President who would then nominate his own candidate.

Now that very same Senate majority has decided the precedent and principles that Lincoln established in 1864 and that guided them again four years ago no longer apply.   Their hypocrisy and abandonment of senatorial ethics is absolutely disgusting.

Don't waste your time. Lincoln delayed nominating someone for his own reasons but its indisputable that he did so until after the election. The hypocrisy of Little Earl being concerned about small inaccuracies when he rubber stamps the GOP party line and the evangelical platform is rich.

All this blame on Trump is stupid. He just nominates. Just like Obama did.

Your hatred, in this situation, should be directed at McConnell.

Try to pay attention. Point me to where I blamed Trump. I'll wait....
