Titans Broke Protocols; Gathered Last Week

Recommended Posts

I imagine the mentality was, “Ask for forgiveness, not permission.” I’m oftentimes down with that approach, but not in a pandemic with such high stakes. Less than a third of the roster was there, so clearly it wasn’t a unanimous thing. Unfortunate leadership behavior.

Honestly, what sucks about this the most of all is it confirms the issue isn't going away anytime soon.

This will be a long, arduous road for everyone in the Titans organization.

highly unlikely this lingers. There is a pandemic going on and rules and protocols keep changing. The Titans will be fined or punished if they did something wrong and everyone will move on. only Titans fans are going to act otherwise.

Massive fine and probably loss of 1st round pick otw... lack of discipline will cost this organization.

PK never breaks shit, of course he breaks this story. O the irony.

I have to imagine (hope) the players were super close during this workout. Mainly throwing and running routes. I think (again hope) it’s unlikely anyone here caught it from that day.

We'll see.

I think that's exactly what the NFLPA will argue. They'll also point to the NFL letting the Patriots travel and play a game as well.

This is going to get ugly.

Exactly. To me, if they had worked out let’s say Friday or a day this week....then punish them because that’s idiotic and indefensible. But there was every indication a game was happening in 5 or so days and they did what they felt necessary.

Kuharsky has actually been defending the Titans to an extent in all this, prior to today. And he also picked them to go to the Superbowl.

PK gets shit for not breaking news and then get shit for breaking news.

He's a journalist doing a job. Not a fan.

He doesn't want the team to fail, it's better for him if the team does well, but reporting this is literally his job.

First rounder seems very stiff to me but I could see it.

I wonder who handed him this because PK is incapable of doing this on his own.

This is actually a really interesting question.  Did a participant at the workout rat out the others or did someone in the organization know?  Or it could be neither of the above.
