Russia ran right-wing media sites in US to target voters

Recommended Posts

Not that we didnt know that already... at least the intelligent ones here... but here's just more evidence that all these right-wingers are easily manipulated puppets.

I'd love to see how many time Tux has quoted these trolls.

Trumpers don’t care about the veracity or the sourcing of online ‘information’ as long as it aligns with their worldview. They don’t care that this stuff continues to be peddled on the internet fringe untouched by earnest investigations or reputable journalists. Indeed, it makes them feel special, in the know, morally superior MSM antagonists. The fact that this stuff rarely bears fruit and often backfires as specious misinformation or simply getting played by opportunistic grifters doesn’t seem to dent the appeal to them.  Shame and accountability of being wrong died a decade ago and the churn of the internet data flow allows for short term memories and frequent bites of the apple.

More than projection.  He's straight out posting Russian disinformation.  See the closed thread about HRC/Bernie.

Notice also that every time he posts, there is no follow up to debate the issue. He just posts the BS to get it out there.

I doubt it's just Russia.  And I doubt it's solely right wing.  It's become apparent any outside actors can easily manipulate the partisan American public.  They want the news to be their news, and they'll consume it without second thought.

No other time in history has it been so easy to sew discord in the US.

Apparently there was misinformation posted for the Iowa Dem challenger

...But over the weekend as false information spread on social media that the Iowa Farm Bureau was rescinding its endorsement of Ernst, the agriculture group came to her defense and released a statement amplifying its support....
