Popular Post IsntLifeFunny
It was shown in the NYT piece that what he did was fraudulent. You cannot pay your kids in such a manner and then use it as a write off, and you cannot enhance your assets for loan purposes and then devalue them for tax purposes. Both of those are criminal actions, and the latter is a felony. Either way, I don’t think the piece was necessarily about criminal actions per say. It’s more the alarming nature of where we find ourselves as a country. Our leader is indebted to foreign creditors by up to 500 million dollars, and by an opinion piece on Bloomberg, up to 1 billion. That’s what is called a severely compromised individual. I've seen a lot of prosecutors talking about the fact he's going to face real jail time after he leaves office. I also saw a former prosecutor say the idea of him leaving the country is no longer a ridiculous scenario tgo

I’ve said the same in the past. But do you really think Trump would trust Pence to bail him out? And if you are Pence, would you risk an obstruction of justice charge to bail out Trump? As long as their media bubble keeps the hardcore baseless propaganda, Pence will be fine. in fact I saw an article that noted that he got rid of his policy team for a communications team long ago. The implication is clear: it's not about governing better with the current GOP. it's about amplifying and winning culture wars. reo

This is a sign of a dying party. The only questions are how long can they keep doing it and whether or not they take the country down w/ them. The recent 538 article on why the Senate math favors a shrinking GOP was sobering. It basically means the GOP can hold onto power and continue to obstruct government. Sure they are likely to lose this cycle but they will regain the Senate in 2022 or 2024 based on rural voters.
