Clowney lined up real close

Recommended Posts

Seemed worth it's own thread.  Clowney is lined up real close.  But also, sometimes centers move the ball forward when they get ready for the snap.

What do you think was going on this play?

Forgetting Clowney, in watching where the ball was thrown I almost wonder if it may have been picked had it not been tipped.  And if not picked he would've been tackled in bounds and they'd have had to spoke it with not much time left to get many more yards for the FG.

That was one hell of a heads up play by Landry....reaching up to snatch it out of the air and catching it cleanly as he went to the ground.

Byard had it sniffed out all the way and it certainly looks like he had a shot at picking it off had it not been batted.   At the very least, he would have gotten there as the ball arrived and blown the play up.

Clowney played a good game, except that he tired and had to come out too much. He's the least of our defensive problems. Well, Simmons is the least, but Clowney is down there.

I read your post to say tried too much. Then I am already thinking WTF. So you go on to say Simmons is down there too. I’m thinking this’s bad. Simmons?!!

tried is different than tired.
Reading is fundamental.  lol.

The refs always favor the good teams.  Everybody knows the Jags suck.  Refs just doing what they are supposed to do.  GOOD JOB!! :91_thumbsup:

After all these years it feels so good. Remember them picking up the holding flag.

Head official talked his line judge out of the flag 🤣 and later we got a questionable pass int called for us to sustain a drive!

That was really a bad call, unless he was bumped off his route.
