Herbert looks plenty capable of running an NFL offense and learning on the job. You shouldn't sit these guys unless they are a risk to their own safety. I respect Anthony Lynn as a human but he sounded like an absolute idiot when addressing the QB situation. It always leaves a bad taste in my mouth when it's obvious that a coach is prioritization his personal relationship with a player (Tyrod) over what's best for the team.
