This country... can't even mourn an American Icon without fighting over her body and her seat. We are pathetic.

The ACA is the Republican health bill from the 90s. It's Mitt Romney's Republican law from Massachusetts in the early 00s.    Yet when Obama brought up the same law, suddenly it became a "go

I actually think it could be a good idea. The life time appointments were supposed to depolitize the Judiciary assuming both parties would use the powers of congress to vet potential judges and ensure

The Garland nomination was different due to the WH and Senate under different party control. You know that and are being disingenuous.

The GOP has both now, so the situation is different. There is no reason the GOP should not fill that seat. You damn well know the Dems will do it if the same situation occurs in the future.

So, all of the statements from top leaders saying regardless who the president was in 2020 if a seat opened they wouldn’t fill it till after the election? Notably Graham pointed this out again in 2018 forcibly. Just go look up the videos they’re everywhere, including from Trump himself. No wonder you would support it.

Thank Harry Reed.

Also, you are under the assumption that Joe Biden is going to win. If/When he doesn't, it is a moot point.

Always deflect. Your leaders said this, including the two finalist in the primaries, the President, and the head of the Judiciary Committee.

Trump with the ultimate Fuck You to Dems.

You spied on his campaign. You cried like little bitches and didn't go to his inauguration.  You peddled a collusion hoax. You went for impeachment.

Trump dismantled almost everything Obama 'accomplished' in under 4 yrs. Trump's picks will last for 30-40 years.

And when Trump wins again, you little girls will cry for another 4 yrs.

I don't think you realize how shit will hit the fan if the ACA is struck down and the GOP has no plan to replace it

It would certainly set up the Democratic message in 2024 and beyond to be about MFA and they’d probably have enough political support for it too after the humanitarian devastation that would ensue.

But then a conservative court would just strike it down immediately.

The only way forward is to kill the filibuster, expand the court, and institute PR and DC statehood.

They would absolutely need to kill the filibuster and give DC and PR statehood.

I can’t see Biden expanding the court, politically, and I’m not sure if enough conservative Dems would support it. But if they can sell the SCOTUS screw job and people are upset enough about decisions on abortion, healthcare, etc then it’s not impossible.

Yeah, if you can't win by the rules, change them! JFC
