Has there been any update on this at all? Suspension? Rehab? Counseling?

Probably but I bet they are keeping it discrete until he's ready to come back and play.  He's probably dealing with anxiety and the spotlight doesn't help.

I think we are going to have to change his nickname from Panda to Trash Panda. It even fits with the team mascot...

Exactly. I lose so much respect for anyone who gets a dui...especially in this day and age when you can have a vehicle pick you up - literally in minutes - just using an app on your phone.

We might not seem him until midway through the season or even next year.

Exclusive footage from last Friday night of the Panda leaving the bar.  Dude was fucking smashed man!  Had a hell of a time trying to navigate the stairs.  He tried to hang onto the hand railing at first, but couldn't do it.  Ended up having to slide down the bitches and then crawl outta there.  I don't know how the Panda could have driven a vehicle after that though.  Amazing...

Interested to hear what kind of physical shape Wilson is in when he returns to practice, with the clear mental health issues he was dealing with i'm not sure football conditioning would of been a high priority over the last month that he has been away from the team.

Would be surprised if media are allowed at practice until the Titans stricter covid restrictions are lifted so it might be a while before we get any media eyes on Wilson.

They will play the game, get him counseling about drinking, etc. Since this is his first offense it will be reduced down to reckless driving or some such. The fact he was barely over the limit will help, and certainly the fact he was drafted high and this is a whole new world for him will be considered.

You can't plea down a DUI in TN unless there are indications that the arresting officer didn't follow protocols; in this case he was doing something stupid and obviously illegal which makes it a good stop, consented to both the field sobriety and breath tests which he failed (the field tests badly). Not happening.

DUI Plea Bargaining in Tennessee

You will face a variety of harsh penalties if arrested for DUI. This will be the case regardless of whether it’s your first charge or if you are accused of being a repeat offender.

If convicted of DUI, jail time is automatically required, and more time and fines could be added depending on the circumstances, the number of prior DUI convictions, and if any injuries were caused as a result of the impaired driving. Therefore, in certain cases, it may be to your advantage to reach a plea agreement and avoid harsh sentencing, loss of your driver’s license, or other consequences of a DUI offense.

Both parties may have an interest in reaching a compromise. A plea frees up the already busy court system in your area and avoids the pressure, cost, and time of a full trial. Even though DUI charges are aggressively prosecuted, an experienced DUI defense lawyer may be able to persuade the state’s attorney to dismiss or reduce a DUI charge by showing him or her that the case is weak, the arresting officer did not follow the correct procedure, or that your constitutional rights were violated.

You may wish to seek a plea agreement, especially if it involves a lesser offense, in order to resolve your case more quickly, save money, or avoid the severe consequences often associated with a DUI conviction. By ending your case prior to trial, you achieve a certain outcome, which often eliminates the anxiety caused by having to wait for a verdict. It may also be beneficial if you’ve had difficulty missing work to appear in court in the past or feel you’d have difficulty appearing moving forward.

An experienced DUI attorney can inform you of the pros and cons of accepting a plea agreement based on your specific case. They can inform you of realistic penalties and conditions you may face, as well as provide recommendations on reasonable items to request when negotiating an agreement.

Pleading to a lesser charge often eliminates jail time altogether, but might still include some reduced amount of jail time for second or subsequent convictions for DUI.

Other alternatives to jail time can include:

Traffic classes. A judge could require you to attend a class or classes that cover the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

Vehicular restrictions. You may still face a suspension of your license for a year in some circumstances. Sometimes a plea agreement may include the requirement that you operate a vehicle only if it is equipped with an ignition interlock device.

Substance/lifestyle restrictions. You may be ordered to not consume alcohol or illegal drugs for a certain period of time. Arrests or citations for these offenses could lead to additional jail time or less inclination by the prosecutor’s office to approve plea agreements in the future.

He was doing donuts and crashed the car, that  makes the stop more than legitimate.  He consented to the field test, and failed each part on multiple incidents.  He consented to the breath test and failed,  it doesn't matter to the degree; and a guy his size has a much greater volume of blood  which means he can consume larger amounts of alcohol and not register as high a blood content which the judge and more importantly the DA's office are well aware of. This is not a plea eligible case. What you're quoting are ads from defense attorneys soliciting business.

All he will get is the classes that he will have to pay the state for, court cost, community service, and attorney fees.

He ain't gonna go to jail.

If he was 2nd time offender he'd get the above and instead of community service it would be a week in jail plus a blow and go that he'd have to pay the state for.

The biggest hit he'll get is his insurance that will be though the roof.

I got a DUI when they first started getting serious about them.  I had a court time.  The judge asked all DUI offenders to stand up.  They order all of us to take a class that lasted maybe six weeks.  Upon completion, the DUI would be reduced to reckless driving.  If any of us got another DUI, the reckless driving ticket would revert back to DUI and we would be charged, sentenced as a two time DUI offender.  Cost total.  $1500.

The NFL has an excellent DUI awareness program for the players.  They tell them what to do.  They have rides available.  They don't even get in trouble for using the service.  They also can afford sober drivers to take him around.  Isaiah really needs to wake up.  Another slip-up and he could get labeled as a fuckup.  Tackles make a lot of money in the NFL and they have long careers.  Be sad to blow this opportunity.
