Soccer at Nissan Stadium

Recommended Posts

What's this doing in a football forum you ask? Well Nashville is going to play there the last week in August. The mayor has said NO FANS.  So even if the NFL said there will be a season, could the Mayor shut down the stadium so fans could not attend?

I was skeptical about football this year but I think they will at least start the season and there will be zero fans.

Will actually work in Titans favor as Nashville fans kinda suck.

I've been watching the Champions League games on CBS All-Access. The European teams are just so much better than the crap ones here in the States.

The soccer teams here are about the equivalent of the NFL Europa teams that played back in the 90's and 2000's before the league finally folded.

No doubt.  But you have to start somewhere...

I went to the first (and only) Nashville FC game this year at Nissan and it was a fucking blast. Way better atmosphere than most titans game to be honest. Sure the product on the field is lacking some star power but the MLS is much more fan driven than the NFL and puts on a better show because of that.
