pat
I'm rewatching the 2019 season on NFL Gamepass. Tampa played very well against the Titans, with the exception of the QB. Brady may be limited, but he's about to get the best receiving corps he's ever had. That defensive line looks for real. So long as Tommy doesn't get everyone covid, they could make some noise. scine09
They lost so many fluky games last year. They easily could have been a 10 or 11 win team.
Starkiller
They have a good roster. If Brady can play well enough (he isn’t going to be like Brady of old) and they can get decent RB play then they should be a playoff team. Also, if Brady can simply not throw as many INTs as Infamous Jameis then that’s a big step in the right direction. nine
I’m in the group that believes Brady’s “Tom Terrific” days are behind him. But in Tampa and that great receiving corps, he won’t have to do a whole heckuva lot...just get the ball into the hands of his playmakers and let them do what they do. The biggest thing with Brady....even as he’s slowing down, he rarely makes big mistakes. You won’t see him turn the ball over 40 times or make many “WTF” throws. Tampa is gonna be a tough out. OzTitan
They have an interesting running back group, could see someone emerging from it.
woolfolksunclesuncle
Good? Yes. Legitimate Super Bowl contender? Nope. titanruss, and Somedude
Pray_iv_m3rcy
Before I start worrying about other teams I'm always more concerned about how we stack up against the Colts and the Texans. For some reason or another we havent fully abolished that monkey off our back when it comes to beating these teams when it matters the most. We needed some fluky plays on special teams just to beat a colts team that had no business making that game competitive. Bink
I absolutely think they are legitimate contenders. The existence of Mahomes gives us a favorite. It does not disqualify others. Brady himself was on the receiving end of one of the best teams and offenses of all time losing a Super Bowl to the mediocre quarterback that all mediocre quarterbacks look up to. It would be stupid to not name them as one of the handful of teams that not just have the ability to win it, but are solidly in that second tier. The competition in the NFC is weaker than the AFC. Brady may not be in his prime, but the offensive talent he had to work with was abysmal. As others have pointed out, his supporting cast will be incredible. CaliTitan3518
I think Tampa will be solid. The wild card race will be a tough one for the NFC. I could see 6-7 teams fighting for the last spots.

Maybe not in terms of depth, but at the top? Ravens and Chiefs to me are in a tier above every other team in the league.

I would think the conference with better teams would be considered the stronger conference. I don’t think the idea that KC and Bal being above the rest is true. KC is the top. Bal, SF and NO are the obvious next 3. They could be in any order imo. oldschool

Somedude
This seasons media darling that will come up short. Tom was so well protected behind the Pats oline but once he got hit he was shaken up for the rest of the game. We shall see if TB is as solid. IrishTitansFan
I think they’ll be good and make the playoffs. How well they do from then on will be about how Brady’s arm is holding up
