AOC is going to be around for a long time

I don't know why people would consider her crazy though.  Her responses are usually well thought out, intelligent and I get a kick out of the snark.  Whomever mentioned the misogyny part was correct though.  She's actually the outsider trying to change the system, too bad she gets unfairly branded as a socialist or whatever.

She suffers from the same issue the rest of the dems do, messaging. If she came to the table a little bit and worked with slotkin type dems she would be more formidable. Instead she gets branded ultra left, which she is. There are signs she understands she has to moderate her message a bit so hopefully that continues.

Usually, I don't mind AOC.  However, with the Georgia runoff still pending and the well funded right wing propaganda machine taking every thing she says and turning into a socialism ad for why the Republicans need to control the Senate, I really don't care to hear about her pushing or pressuring Biden about the progressive agenda. There will be a  time and place for that and it's not right now.

Actually, she tends to do a pretty good job of staying on message herself. It’s just the way the right tries to spin it, which they will do even if she stayed totally silent.

She can tweet out some glorious combination of Mother Theresa and Margret Thatcher tomorrow, but it will be summarily dismissed by many if not most once they see AOC as the origin.

She doesn't feel any need to be the demure not too out there woman politician that most feel they have to be. She's far more restrained than the Jim Jordans or the Matt Goetzes of the world.

Louie Gohmert, Paul Gosar, Devin Nunes, etc, and their Dem counterparts — argue what maybe extremes, hold your position, and let the compromise work itself out through the debate. Essentially, don’t play yourself cuz the other side ain’t playing.

With the gop gains in the house, the people to keep an eye on imo, will be the new super Trumpy representatives. They will surely embrace their proOrange approaches as fighters. It’s going to be a mess as compromise becomes a faded memory.

Almost half the country voted against Biden because he got branded as an extreme left wing socialist. They'll do that no matter who it is
