There is a ton of talent at the RB position though. You don't have to throw out an UFA out there. They're not hard to find

Apparently hard enough where Super Bowl winners are still spending high draft picks on them. There's something we're missing here or something they're completely blind to.

Now we need to lock in his lead blocker.

And from earlier in the day...     Update: Official, per Glazer.     Update 2: Terms.

One important unmentioned consequence of agreeing an extension with Henry is it frees up the franchise tag for next offseason which could be vital with both Jonnu Smith and Jayon Brown among plenty of

A 3 down back...

OK ... would you rather we have spent a 1st-round pick on a 3-down back instead and take the risk of him working out and not being a flop?

After making the AFC Championship with Henry carrying us in the playoffs?

You have to be logical here.

The Chiefs can take these chances because they have the luxuries we do not have at this time.

I have no problem with drafting a RB in the 1st round, as long as he's a complete 3 down RB.

There offense was fine with the platoon of RBs though

Lot of carries on Henry.  We could be seeing the slowdown now. I hope not. Just saying it’s ludicrous to say that it was more important to sign Henry than Tannehill.

If Tannehill is great. Henry will become expendable and we'll be able to do that. Henry is still here because Tannehill is not completely trusted to be the "Franchise."

Henry was tagged going into the draft.  Even if we took a 1st round RB, he would likely still be here under the tag.

The real question is:  would the Titans be a better team, short term and long term, if they had take a RB in the 1st and a developmental OT in the 3rd?

I think the Titans played it right

This is ridiculous

He isn't. If you think we trusted him to carry this franchise I disagree. He'd have been paid even more than he got.

Tannehill got a lot of money in a QB market where solid gets paid.

We'll never know. But you don't have a crystal ball going in.

You have the fact that you made the AFC Championship with a certain group of playres and have the space to bring back that group of players.

He hasn’t slowed down, but he definitely looked a bit winded. He’s getting touches at almost an unprecedented rate, and he is t being a bitch about like he did his first two years trying to hop outside every single play to get away from contact. The play where he broke outside showed the same speed and tenacity, the one where they picked up the flag. He’s fine.

The line has looked great pass blocking over 2 games except for the whiff by Saffold, but they’ve got zero push in the run game.

Defenses are using our scheme against us in a certain way, at least they have the first two games. They’re going two edge, 2 DL, 2 LBs all crunched in the middle. I expect to see some more single back outside zone to counter.
