Speaking of Woolfolk and the draft. I was listening to SiriusXM NFL Network and someone called in, mentioned they are Woolfolk's uncle, gave props to Gil Brandt for changing his draft review of Woolfolk. I think the caller mentioned the draft review impacting his nephew and Brandt was gracious to change his review while Kiper continued to base his draft profile on incorrect information. @woolfolksunclesuncle, was that you? If so, what is the story with Kiper's draft profile on Andre Woolfolk? Edited June 21, 2020 by Btowner woolfolksunclesuncle

Mythos27
Worst does not necessarily mean most disappointing. My my most disappointing 2nd rounder is Hunter but the worst 2nd rounder is Dodd and it's not even close IMO. One year wonder, older player, drafted hurt, got hurt again, barely played and then literally quit football. Hard to be a bigger bust than that. I was 18 years old in 2003----so, if the call didn't come from a strip club or if the caller sounded sober, then I can't take credit. freakingeek
I think this thread magnified just how bad Webster really was. A lot of these picks were on his watch. Number9

Drafts are a crap shoot. Some analysts had him dubbed the best player in the draft. He turned me off from Alabama players as being as good as advertised. Davis has turned me off players who didn't play at the big schools going high. And wrs who have their foot in cast and walk like Chester from Gunsmoke. Nope. pat
It's not worth a separate thread. Who was more disappointing -- Vince Young or Jake Locker?

Locker was overdrafted. Vince won Rookie on the Year and there seemed to be more around him. Then he showed up fat and lost some of his speed. That plus I never expected Locker to be any good. But we could ask who is the worst 2nd round pick and 3rd round pick individually. You could argue those could both be back from 2007: Chris Henry and Paul Williams. Both contributed nothing and never showed any signs. Henry did have 2 long TD runs his rookie year where we got to see the 4.40 speed. However, usually that 4.40 speed was used to run to darkness with uncanny regularity...he was a workout warrior with no football traits. Paul Williams was on the team for ~3 years and was practice squad quality at best. JRob would have cut him after 1 year at the most.
