Jeff Fisher wins Madden championship

Recommended Posts

Strangely similar to our run to the AFC Championship game except we had a real QB and Derrick Henry, not Gayle Sayers.

Sayers.

Great point. Why knock something that works? I know everyone here hates Fisher, but like it or not last year's team was very Fisher-esque.

Tannehill became just the 2nd QB since 1966 to win consecutive playoff games while throwing at least 1 TD pass with less than 100 yards passing.

The other was Terry Bradshaw and it worked for his team quite well. Of course that was over 40 years ago when teams threw a whole lot less.

He did this to show what a “joke” this years madden is. Running has been broken all year and they refuse to fix it. You can literally let the cpu run for you and win. Passing is broken because of nano blitzes and everyone in competitive just spams stretch and dive. Joke used punter Tress way at QB for handoffs to the left because he is left handed(faster handoff)and Eli for handoffs to the right because he is right handed. Even with the obvious telegraphs on where the run was going it couldn’t be stopped. Every major madden tournament for Madden 20 was won by someone who didn’t pass. It’s embarrasing for EA and I’m glad this one was live on ESPN and is getting the attention it is. Maybe this plus 2k coming back next year will make the developers actually try.
