Dissecting the 2020 Titans Front 7!

Recommended Posts

I can appreciate what you are doing.  I guess with COVID we all need an outlet.  Build your brand brother.  Not sure why you pick the Titans but at least your stuff is way stronger than many others on here with huge post counts.

Really enjoy the videos.

A couple things I’ll note is that it is unlikely Jackson moves into the nickel. He was the fifth rated CB last year. He’s an outside specialist who can shadow a WR if need be. I think our nickel will be a rotation piece this year depending on the opponent and situation. I expect to see Butler, Fulton, Jackson, and Hooker all get snaps at the nickel. Also, in that Diamond type front with the LBs pressed up to the line they aren’t taking Evans off the field for Correa.

Thank you for your comment.

This isn't a covid "outlet" for me. If you looked at my channel you would see that I have plenty of content that came before March 13th.

The reason, I began doing more Titans coverage is because my Titans videos were being received well and my guy T. Davenport told me that Titans fans like legit analysis and breakdowns which is what I do.

I'm not exactly sure why you posted those two links or what either have to do with this?

I am happy that think my stuff is strong. Hopefully you will continue to view it as I release it and possibly consider subscribing to my channel.

Jackson has versatility to play everywhere in the defensive backfield and against teams who are more dangerous from the slots (KC) I could see him playing the nickel. That's why the defense is drawn up to formations they faced against last season.

Correa was already in that position so your beef would be with the defensive coordinator who put him in over Evans.

Thanks again and I hope you keep watching.

It is all good.  Just letting folks know you are a  high school coach.  If you have been around as long as many on here have, you see lots of crazies come and go.  Keep up the good work.  I completely understand you are building your brand.

Correa was almost never in that position. Feel free to show some tape.

Also, Jackson is an outside CB. He isn’t the nickel. He shadowed Hill with KC and that was it for 2 of 19 games. He didn’t play nickel the rest of the year. I think he’ll see more snaps there this year because Ryan is gone and to utilize him, but that doesn’t seem to be the reasoning behind your video. You seem to say he’ll be the nickel, which isn’t the case.

I don’t see either Butler or Jackson moving to the nickel except for situational purposes (such as matching up vs a speed WR like Hill).

Fulton is the nickel, they've stated multiple times that that's their vision for him. And furthermore, Fulton also has said they want him to start out inside.

Another good breakdown though, interesting look at the front 7.

This is obviously all predictive but your interpretation of what I was saying is completely wrong. Jackson's versatility hasn't been needed because they had Ryan, so I believe he could see an increased role in that position.

Almost never doesn't mean never. I don't have to show tape on it, you can believe me or not. It is all predictive anyway. Neither of us are the DC. But my thoughts are based off what I have seen them do in that particular situation.

Your analysis was fine. Jackson isn’t the slot CB.

You answered your own question.  Ryan was the full time NB last year.  Now we don't have one and need to wait and see how they will handle it.  My guess is they will use a committee of players depending on the matchups.  Hooker, Adoree, Fulton and maybe Jackson.

I’m failing to see where a question was stated in my post.
