tgo
I wonder if Cowden is heading elsewhere or being promoted to Assistant GM?
tgo
Breer has reported on Ossenfort previously as well, saying: "Ossenfort will likely be on the move in the coming weeks—he was twice requested for, and blocked from, interviews for the Texans GM job over the last two years, and interviewed for the Browns GM job in January." Supdawg
Interesting. Did he replace someone or is this a newly created position?

Currently Ryan Cowden is Vice President of Player Personnel. I guess technically Ossenfort could be Director of Player Personnel under Cowden. or Cowden may get the Assistant GM title or something like that unless he's leaving. Edit: Looks like he'll work under Cowden. Edited May 4, 2020 by tgo
tgo
Well there's our answer. Hey @BudAdams- here's an example of Kuharsky's reporting some minor shit while Turron Davenport is obsessively watching film drooling over some DII prospect and doing a podcast or something and McCormick sitting around somewhere with his thumb up his ass. Starkiller
Seems like he won’t be around for more than a year or 2. If he was being offered GM interviews already then I’d assume he will be looking for a promotion he can’t get here. It's probably better that he didn't take those jobs as those organizations are total trainwrecks. Im wondering why NE let his contract expire.
