The need to get advice from Hollywood, let them produce the crowd effects.  One way could be to use video of the crowds at previous games is the stadiums they are playing in.  Don't overdo it, maybe just on big plays.  The other thing they have been talking about is playing the sound on the field.  There's some worry about the language being too raw for tv.  Some have mentioned having a delay to handle that.

Faking crowd noise is in my opinion disrespectful.  People are suffering from the pandemic, don't pretend things are ok on TV.

Instead embrace being live video on the internet.  Hook NFL.com up with live reactions.  Make fans part of the stream.  Do something special.

That's interesting.  Sounds complicated though.  I guess everything is with a pandemic.

Most people just want the game action back. I doubt anyone without a cleft asshole will complain about fake cheering.

It's gonna be cheezy as hell.  We don't need a laugh track to enjoy the game.

I kinda like that idea. If they add a laugh track to the broadcast they may not be as bad. They will still suck but could be funny.

Going to be interesting to see how long the NFL holds off allowing players/coaches back into facilities now the first CFB program has committed to bringing back players on campus June 1st (University of Wyoming) you can bet others will start following quickly especially SEC Schools.

Bit of talk down here in Australia that the NFL and some of the other major US sports have been in contact with the 2 major football codes here (NRL/AFL) as they are going to be the first two full contact/tackling football codes to restart their competitions, the NRL starts today and the AFL in 2 weeks.

Apparently most interest surrounds the bio security protocols that have been put in place to allow both competitions to restart so quickly.

It is interesting how quickly the debate has shifted, a month ago not everyone was convinced there would be an NFL season and now the discussion more revolves around if or how many fans will be allowed in the stadiums.

There will absolutely be a full NFL season and it appears it won’t be delayed. The biggest question is regarding the fans. Personally, I believe they fill about 1/3 of the stadium for distancing purposes and digitally add more fans.

I just hope it isn't like the fan participation on draft day. That really sucked with Gooddell asking the live fans to boo him. They could have live gametime broadcasts of fan reactions from fans at sports bars etc,
