I blocked Maker during the season.

I have people on ignore that got on there so soon, I don't even remember how they got there. Then I see their name being mentioned like this.  Okay.

I think the biggest reason that the Titans made this pick is they think that the talent level is deeper at corner later than at tackle.

Ban this dude!

I'm surprised by the backlash here. Wasn't this pick kinda obvious?   He's a gigantic, run-mauling RT with a lot of upside. He fits what we do, and #29 makes way more sense for a RT than top

And think about all the talent he faced in SEC

Even though the East isn't great, there is still good talent and UGA played Auburn and LSU. That stat makes me feel really good about this pick. Guy looks like a literal Titan.

Another thing to think about.  With a shortened offseason I just can't see a guy who everyone has seemed to say needs seasoning as a pass blocker starting.  The plan was probably for Kelly to be the guy this year but if Wilson has to start, if you thought Davis struggled early last year, it could get ugly.  He just won't have the practice time that he needs.

I suspect that'll be a league wide issue but I don't think that this pick was made with the thought of 2020.  Much like Simmons may or may not have been made for the thought of 2019.

Pass rush is a bigger need at a position harder to draft well late. You can get a good RT later. Folks calling him David Stewart 2.0 - you mean the guy we drafted in the 4th round? I'm sure he'll be a good player but we could have had better value here imo.

In fairness you can get a good player at any position later.  Obviously the Titans had their reasons for picking him.  I just don't agree.

It’s pretty rare for a legit pass rusher to be available at 29.

IDK, we used to get late round guys and had a great OL coach.  Today, OL players are more essential to the game.  They have to be more prepared now when they come out of college.

The dude is 6'6 350 fucking pounds.  That seems unfair.

Both him and Nate Davis are massive men with nimble feet.  I think it could work out really well for Derrick Henry and who ever we else get at HB.

And he just turned 21.  He may not be finished filling out.

There are a few nice IDL options left that could make it to us in round 2.  I'm hoping we can get one of those and a NB in the 3rd.

It looks a lot nicer if we land Clowney , obviously lol
