Which gets to my point that I think Harris has taken the most unusually amount of heat from people either on the record or essentially on the record. Rice's stuff is all pretty typical for someone who ever expected to be a politician. Of course they cash in on things that are unethical for Democrats to do. There isn’t anything unethical about owning stock in a company you expect to do well luvyablue256, and tgo

I don’t have any problem with any of those things other than people in office should not own stocks outside of a blind trust. Titans279
Titans279
It's not a big ask for politicians to avoid these financial conflicts of interest.

They are private citizens. They can do what they want. It isn’t illegal. I’m only concerned what people do while they are actively in office.

Cupp was on CNN yesterday clarifying her reluctance to vote for Biden until after the VP choice comment she made the other day; one of her no goes was Susan Rice, saying she was way too much of a Beltway insider who had worked the system for her own benefit without ever facing voters and was more of a proper pick for Trump. She mentioned the fact that Biden himself has that connotation and would be well served to bring in someone who was more of an outsider and specifically mentioned Harris as being a choice she'd be happy with. IsntLifeFunny
If the internal polls show they can take back the Senate even with Warren being replaced until a new election then make her the choice. She’s obviously the best fit. I don’t like Harris because of what I’ve already noted and the same goes for Rice and Bass. I really liked Abrams and Duckworth but that apparently isn’t happening. Warren makes too much sense. Put Harris on the Supreme Court and Rice somewhere in the administration.
